Watters Plumbing is looking for an experienced plumber to join our expanding team full time. As a Commercial Plumbing Coordinator, you’ll help create and maintain a positive work environment that everyone feels appreciated, assist in keeping Watters Plumbing profitable and running smoothly. Daily Responsibilities include:
- Make sure the department has the materials, coordination, and resources to operate efficiently
- Secure quotes for bidding and buying commercial plumbing products
- Provide pricing as needed to others in Commercial Department and company
- Be a resource to others in the company as it relates to product and commercial plumbing operations
- Verify ordered product is here or available to ship when needed
- Order fixtures, faucets, equipment as well as underground and rough-in materials as needed
- Assist in the coordination of subcontractors for commercial projects
- Prepare commercial billing and monitor due dates
- Coordinate release of job materials to site or warehouse
- Assist Commercial Manager in take-offs and preparing estimates as necessary
- Request and put together submittal packets as needed
- Request and put together O&M manuals as needed
- Assist in coordinating equipment and vehicle repairs and maintenance for commercial plumbing
- Coordinate lift or equipment delivery and pick-up as necessary
- Attend all safety meetings and assist with safety programs
- Attend weekly staff meetings as necessary
- Call for inspections as needed
- Price and submit change orders
- Assist Commercial Manager with scheduling of upcoming work
- Assign and update commercial job numbers with estimates and job budgets
- Request COI of insurance for commercial plumbing projects
- Review contracts for dollar values, inclusions, exclusions, and scheduling before being signed
- Prepare bid forms when necessary
- Be sure written estimates are worded properly
- Request State plan review and approvals
- Work with Commercial Manager to be sure permits are secured prior to work being done
- Assist in keeping commercial jobs and special inventoried materials orderly and in good supply
- Communicate with warehouse on what is coming in, going out, and needed
- Understand and utilize GPS for vehicles and manpower
- Attend training and continuing education w/ valid Wisconsin Plumbing License
- Company email contact for certain customers
- Order and electronically schedule projects
- Meet with vendor sales people as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Vision:
- Intimately learn and understand business operations to be able to make improvement suggestions and develop as a people manager
- Understand company financials and KPI’s
- Advise on company operations, talent, and resources
- Primary resource to the Commercial Plumbing Manager and department personnel
- Work with VP / GM role as a stakeholder in the company
- Be a company resource for all plumbing related questions, ideas, new products, etc. to provide superior customer service and employee experiences
Position type: Full-time
Position Hours: First Shift

- Base salary + bonus paid out quarterly in overall company profit

Required Education/Experience:
- 3 years of construction plumbing
